Years ago a competition was organized to create a representative sculpture of Ajijic that was intended to be placed at the entrance of the same town, exactly on the outskirts of the park called Tobolandia.
At that time the artists presented their models and their proposals to be considered for the project being promoted.
In the end the decision was made that the winning design was mine: a sculpture called "The Guardian."
Every project depends on support and I was contacted to start raising the necessary funds for its start, which never happened.
The reminiscence of that event is the design that is found at the entrance to Ajijic and that you have surely seen at some time and that rescued the abstraction of the figure of "The Guardian" and that in its design they also included that of a famous local muralist to that people would easily recognize the "AJIJIC" font.

"The pandemic came to change all our lives.
In my personal case, it took the life of my father and many of my closest friends.
I went from having a decent life to living every day as an achievement of survival, my economy broke down and I had to stop living my life as usual, borrow money to eat soup or sell what I had to pay my expenses. of rent.
